Privacy Policy

Who we are

CatMoney is an independent app created and operated by (coolduderules), an individual developer ("I", "me", "we"). This policy explains what data the app handles and what it does not.

The short version

• No account is required. We never ask for your name, email, phone number, or address.
• Game progress stays on your device. We do not upload your gameplay data anywhere.
• Ads are optional-tracked. The advertising identifier (IDFA) is only used if you explicitly tap "Allow" on Apple's tracking prompt. If you don't, ads still work without personalized tracking.
• Payments are handled by Apple. We never see your card number or payment details.

Data we collect

1. Advertising identifier (IDFA) — only with your consent

CatMoney shows optional rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. Before any tracking, the app shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. If you choose "Allow", the advertising identifier on your device may be used by Google AdMob to serve and measure personalized ads. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", the IDFA is not used for tracking and you receive non-personalized ads instead.

You can change this decision at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

2. On-device analytics — never uploaded

The app records anonymous gameplay events (for example: coins collected, upgrades bought, ads watched) to a local file on your device only. These events are used solely to understand the game's funnel and are never transmitted off your device. They contain no personal information, and the advertising identifier is never written to this file. The file is size-capped and automatically rotated.

3. In-app purchases — handled by Apple

All purchases (fish packs, starter packs, boosts, and the VIP subscription) are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. I receive only the entitlement information needed to unlock content in the app (via StoreKit). I do not receive or store your payment details, receipt files with personal data, or purchase history beyond what is needed to restore your purchases on your own devices.

4. App configuration requests

The app periodically fetches a small configuration file over HTTPS from coolduderules.cc. Like any website request, standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) may be recorded by the hosting infrastructure. This is used only to deliver the file and keep the service running.

Third parties

• Google AdMob — serves rewarded ads and may process the IDFA under its own privacy terms. See Google's Privacy Policy and Google's Ads Settings to opt out of personalized advertising.
• Apple — App Store, App Tracking Transparency, and StoreKit purchase processing are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

I do not sell, rent, or share any personal data with anyone.

Data retention & deletion

• Game progress and local analytics live only in the app's sandboxed storage on your device.
• Uninstalling CatMoney deletes all of its local data (including your progress and the local analytics file) from the device, subject to any copies in your personal iCloud/iTunes backup.
• The IDFA is managed by iOS itself and is not stored by the app.
• To request deletion of anything else that may exist on my servers, email [email protected].

Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EU/EEA, CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because almost all CatMoney data is on-device and anonymous, the practical answers are: withdraw tracking consent in iOS Settings, and uninstall the app to remove local data. Children's privacy

CatMoney is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in some regions). I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The advertising identifier is only collected with the device-level consent described above, and children under the age of consent on their device are not tracked by the app.

Changes to this policy

If I change this policy, I will update the effective date above and, where the changes are significant, note them in the app's release notes. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
